you gotta give hans credit for patience because when anna completes his thoughts as “we finish each other’s sandwiches” it must have taken a special kind of inner strength to still plan to marry her
According to the concept art (The art of Frozen), the girl who dances with Hans is Elsa, not Anna. The hairstyle is the same.
Hans initially wanted to marry her.
"As heir, Elsa was preferable, of course…"
Hans + Decisions
I think the thing that really gets to me about Hans is his brilliance. His split-second thinking when he uses the chandelier and the arrow to knock Elsa out, the way he uses his good looks to his advantage, the way he works to gain an entire kingdom’s trust (never once letting his true self show), and the way he immediately centers on the easiest person to manipulate all strike me as things that require copious amounts of intelligence. It also makes me think that his intelligence has led him to be misunderstood and alienated since birth; which explains the desperation for power/attention.

IT’S OKAY TO LIKE A SHIP
IT’S OKAY TO DISLIKE A SHIP
IT’S OKAY TO SHIP SOMETHING THAT’S NOT CANON
IT’S OKAY TO SHIP WHATEVER YOU WANT
BUT IT’S NOT OKAY TO BE RUDE TO SOMEONE JUST BECAUSE THEY SHIP SOMETHING ELSE THAN YOU
AND IT’S NEVER OKAY TO SEND HATE
I'm such a fool, I can't be free.
